Russia declares two German diplomats persona non grata over Zelimkhan Khangoshvili case
Russia has declared two German diplomats persona non grata over Berlin’s recent expulsion of two Russian diplomats regarding the Zelimkhan Khangoshvili murder case.
On Monday, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that German Court’s ruling is “biased, unfair and politically motivated.”
Last week, the German court jailed a Russian man for life for murdering Zelimkhan Khangoshvili in central Berlin in August 2019. Russia denied any link to the killing.
