Russia has cancelled a visa regime for Georgia per a decree signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday.
From May 15, Georgian citizens will be able to visit Russia with valid passports and stay in the Russian Federation for up to 90 days without visas, except for citizens who travel to Russia for employment or education purposes for longer than 90 days.
By another decree, President Putin cancelled the ban on direct flights of Russian airlines and the sale of tours to Georgia that had been in force since 2019.
