Georgia will play the third game of the Rugby World Cup 2023 against Fiji on September 30 in Bordeaux, France. The match will kick off at 19:45 Tbilisi time. The GPB’s First Channel will live-transmit it.
“Borjghalosnebi” played two games and continue to compete without having secured a victory as yet. Georgia first played against Australia and was defeated with a score of 15:35, and then against Portugal ending the match in a draw (18:18).
Georgia’s enthralling 18-18 draw against Portugal in Toulouse last weekend leaves them needing bonus-point wins in both of their last two matches to maintain an outside chance of reaching the knockout phase.
Fiji’s win over Australia last time out, and their losing bonus-point against Wales puts them in the box seat for the second qualification slot in Pool C. A win here would consolidate their position, with a final match against Portugal to come.
