“Georgia’s Labor Inspection Department together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs will carry out more active monitoring of ritual and festive events,” said the Minister of Health, Ekaterine Tikaradze after the meeting of the Coordination Council on COVID-19.

The Minister noted that “the restrictions remain unchanged, but the sanctions will be tougher.”

Georgia has reported 34 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) today, bringing the total number of infected people to 1 684, according to stopcov.ge.

Five patients have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, increasing the total to 1 315.
