"Revive History" - Main characters of the epoch will come to life through Facebook on May 26

On Georgia’s Independence Day, on May 26 the history of the First Republic of Georgia will come to life.

The project “Revive History” is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of declaration of First Republic of Georgia. The main characters of the epoch will tell their stories with photos, stories and videos.

10 main characters will come to life through Facebook: Noe Jordania, Noe Ramishvili, Ekvtime Takaishvili, Giorgi Kvinitadze, Akaki Chkhenkeli, Maro Makashvili, Christine Sharashenidze, Zakaria Paliashvili, Sandro Akhmeteli and Ivane Javakhishvili.

They will share history with status, photos and comments as well as FB lives.

Within the project the web-page will be developed containing the full information about the main characters and the history of the first democratic republic of Georgia. The archive material depicting the epoch will be published on the web-page.

In connection with the 100th anniversary of declaration of First Republic of Georgia, the First Channel has prepared microfilms about Maro Makashvili, Ekvtime Takaishvili, Elene Akhvlediani, the first female MPs and others.
