Restrictive measures remain in force in Adjara

Restrictive measures in Adjara remain in force in Adjara, – Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the National Center for Disease Control, said after the meeting of the Government Coordination Council.

According to Gamkrelidze, even though the epidemiological situation in Adjara is stabilizing, the decision on lifting the restrictions requires som time.

“Even though the stabilization process is underway in Adjara, the decision on lifting the restrictive measures was not deemed necessary at this stage, at least until one incubation period. It is not recommended to lift restrictive measures until stabilization reaches a certain level”, – Gamkrelidze said.
