Resolution of Georgian territorial conflicts to be priority of UN in 2018

Resolution of Georgian territorial conflicts will be one of the 12 top priorities of the United Nations in 2018, António Guterres, UN Secretary General stated during his speech delivered at UN General Assembly.

According to Guterres, causes of ‘frozen’ conflicts in Europe should be eliminated. He said that “nationalism wave should be stopped in Europe” and “Mediation initiatives should be revived” for resolution of conflicts in Georgia, Ukraine, Transdnestr and Nagorny Karabakh.
