Rescuers commemorate victims of June 13 tragedy

Rescuers and firefighters of the Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) commemorated victims of the June 13, 2015, deadly flood in Tbilisi.

The rescuers visited the memorial and paid tribute to their colleague Zurab Muzashvili, who saved the life of 6 people but died.

The Emergency Situations Management Service teams were the first to respond during the night and participated in the flood elimination efforts in the following days.

Today, eight years have passed since the June 13 deadly flood in Tbilisi that claimed the lives of 21 people, leaving two missing and thousands of victims.
