Regional Development Minister promises new standards to improve building aesthetics across municipalities
“Following the initiative and guidance of the Prime Minister, we will introduce amendments to the existing construction legislation. These will regulate the appearance of buildings, facades, and fences across municipalities, towns, and settlements,” announced Kakha Guledani, Minister of Regional Development.
Guledani highlighted that the current situation in many municipalities is less than ideal, primarily due to the lack of unified standards.
“We will establish consistent guidelines to govern the appearance of existing buildings and facades throughout various municipalities. Furthermore, when new constructions are approved, they will be required to meet modern aesthetic and urban standards, ensuring a cohesive and contemporary look,” Guledani explained.
