We need to think about who we are and what society we want to live in, – said President Giorgi Margvelashvili in response to the tragic incident that happened between teenagers yesterday.

According to the President, recent developments show that our society is aggressive and violent. Giorgi Margvelashvili called upon citizens, especially young people, to think carefully about their behavior.

“I would like to express my condolences to the whole society. We are all moved and frightened by such a tragedy. As a society, unfortunately, we are very aggressive and violent”, said the President. “Each of us should think about what society we live in and what we give each other. This tragedy should make us think about who we are and what society we want to live in”.

Giorgi Margvelashvili offered sympathy to the family of the deceased school student and expressed hope that no such fact will ever be repeated.
