Rati Ionatamishvili: The real tragedy is that Saakashvili and the UNM serve foreign handlers and willingly execute anti-state directives

“We all know that Saakashvili suffers from delusions of grandeur and thinks everything revolves around him alone,” MP Rati Ionatamishvili, chair of Parliament’s Human Rights Committee, told Georgian Public Broadcaster’s First Channel.

Ionatamishvili said Saakashvili is a criminal on a large scale who has committed even the most unscrupulous and immoral crimes, which is why he has been charged and convicted in several cases.

“We are not interested in who revolves around whom, or how. These people in fact make up a single outfit headed by Saakashvili. The greatest tragedy is that all these people, from Saakashvili down to every last ‘Nat’, serve not the Georgian people but their own masters. They are ready to put their names to anti-state and anti-national assignments. What could be a greater disaster for them? That is why they have been destroyed in the eyes of Georgian society,” Ionatamishvili said.
