The International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED) is a “brand” of trustfulness and that is why the mistake committed by the organization disappointed many people. However, the ISFED critically evaluated its election results data and admitted the mistake, Nino Lomjaria, Georgian Public Defender wrote in the social network.

According to Lomjaria other flaws and issues related to the October 31 parliamentary elections are more relevant.

Lomjaria said that misbalance was recorded in the unprecedented number of summary protocols, there were corrections, carrousels and so on. Hundred of protocols were filed.

“However, neither the Election Administration nor the courts found it necessary to discuss the material. They failed to fulfill their duties assigned by the law,” Lomjaria said.

The ISFED said that that invalid ballots were also counted and that “caused a small difference for three parties’ results.”

According to the latest CEC data, Georgian Dream won 48,22% of votes. The PVT adjusted data provided by the Fair Elections yesterday, the maximum result received by the Georgian Dream made 48,3% and the minimum – 46,9%. Thus, the corrected results of the parallel counting of ISFED coincide with the final results of the CEC, taking into account the accuracy margin. It should be noted that according to the results of the parallel count published by the organization on November 1, the maximum result of the Georgian Dream was 46.5%, and the minimum – 45.1%.
