One killed in apartment fire in Tbilisi’s Vazisubani district

One person has died in a fire that broke out in an apartment in a residential building in the Vazisubani district of Tbilisi, according to Georgia’s Emergency Management Service.

The agency told the Georgian Public Broadcaster that firefighters rescued three people from the apartment unharmed.

Officials said the fire has been extinguished.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and the incident is under investigation.
