Prosecutor’s Office releases video of attack on police officer

Georgian Prosecutor’s Office indicted one individual on the fact of an attack on a police officer during a protest at Melikishvili Avenue.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) determined through an investigation that the indictee inflicted multiple injuries to three police officers with a wood stick at the rally in the morning hours on November 19.

The Prosecutor’s Office released a video of the attack. The indictee faces from 4 to 7 years in prison. Investigation into the criminal case continues.
