Prosecural Affairs Committee Chair: Brussels avoids dialogue, fears responding to arguments

“The number of shameful decisions from Brussels is increasing, highlighting a subjective and biased approach towards Georgia,” said Davit Matikashvili, Chair of the parliamentary Procedural Affairs Committee.

According to Matikashvili, Brussels avoid dialogue with Georgia.

“Brussels avoids a dialogue with Georgia. It fears responding to the arguments that Georgia has, including on the protection of human rights. They find reasons to postpone or suspend dialogue. This contributes to European scepticism that emerged in Georgian society due to the incorrect policy of European bureaucrats,” he said.
