Prime Minister to sportsmen – You create our country’s image in the region facing serious problems, at occupational line

No big countries can be proud of having 21 world champions with 4 Olympic Champions and more than 30 European Champions – Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said during the meeting with sportsmen of Shida Kartli region in Gori town.

Prime Minister inquired about the problems in the sports sphere from the sportsmen and introduced them with the new initiatives.

“You create our country’s image in the region facing serious problems, at the occupational line. I realize that this circumstance generates additional emotions and gives you more energy to struggle and work for the country. The dignity and sincerity with which you are serving people and your region are most important,” Gakharia said.

Prime Minister has launched field meetings in the regions with teachers, doctors, police officers and sportsmen that will be continued with meetings with the population. According to Gakharia, holding of meetings has no other purpose than to become introduced with the problems in the regions at firsthand.
