Georgian PM meets North Macedonia Assembly President
Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, met Afrim Gashi, President of the Assembly of North Macedonia.
According to the Georgian Government Administration, both parties noted that the Assembly President’s visit to Georgia provides a valuable opportunity to exchange views on shared aspirations and discuss ways to deepen bilateral cooperation.
The meeting also emphasised the importance of further strengthening political dialogue and sectoral ties between Georgia and the Republic of North Macedonia.
Attention was also focused on the productive cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries and on prospects for enhancing inter-parliamentary relations.
The discussion also touched upon Georgia’s role in the Black Sea region and its contribution to promoting regional connectivity and dialogue.
The meeting was attended by Maka Botchorishvili, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, along with Levan ZhorZholiani, Head of Government Administration.
