Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze attended Shuamtoba, a traditional public festival in Beshumi of Georgia’s Adjara region.
PM attended the main concert and sports competitions. He awarded the winners in horse racing.
Mamuka Bakhtadze spoke about planned infrastructure projects in Beshumi, focusing on the second phase of the Adjara gasification process that began a few weeks ago, as well as the Khulo-Zarma road rehabilitation project. He also spoke about the plan to develop the Beshumi for making it a four-season resort.
Shuamtoba is celebrated on the first weekend of August.
