President’s International Secretary believes progress achieved by Georgia will be properly assessed in NATO documents

Tengiz Pkhaladze, President’s International Secretary, believes that the progress achieved by Georgia will be properly reflected and assessed in NATO documents.

According to Pkhaladze, NATO summit is underway in a highly important and tense security environment. Therefore, each format and meeting that enables the President of Georgia to discuss the challenges and problems facing the country is of utmost importance.

“Within the frameworks of this summit, an unprecedented meeting is to be held where the President of Georgia has the opportunity to discuss the security challenges facing the Georgia. As for the expectations, the Georgian authorities expect that Georgia’s relationship with the Alliance will be further deepened and after this summit we will have more opportunities to support Georgia’s integration into the Alliance. We look forward to adopting a special document regarding Georgia,” Pkhaladze said.
