Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili visited The Colonel Besik Kutateladze Sachkhere Mountain Training School  in Sachkhere.

The school’s director, Colonel Ivane Tskhadaze, presented the president with information about the school’s history, mission and objectives, and introduced him to the military equipment inventory.  Kavelashvili toured the school’s infrastructure, dormitory buildings and classrooms.

According to the Presidential Administration, military personnel conducted demonstration exercises at the training ground.

“Training is conducted at a quite high level. This is one of the distinguished bases of our defense forces. I am pleased that we also had the opportunity to meet with participants of the ‘Army Camp.’ This is a successful joint project of the Ministries of Education and Defense,” the President stated.
