President thanks election observer non-governmental organizations

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili is meeting with representatives of election observer non-governmental organizations. President thanked them for work.

Margvelashvili said that he was concerned about the statements made on part of politicians in criticism of the third sector. He claimed that the rhetoric was an attack.

“Such a mentality when an objective observer is accused of doing his/her duty and provides the public with the information about faults and violations, and is described as being an enemy of the country is a precondition of the totalitarian mindset,” President stated.
