President of Ukraine to meet with French President and German Chancellor next week

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel will meet on June 18 in Berlin, as the official representative of Germany’s Government Steffen Seibert said, Interfax-Ukraine reported.

Earlier, the administration of Germany’s President informed that the President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier will host Zelensky on June 18 in his Berlin residency Bellevue. “The Chancellor can host Zelensky on this day only,” Seibert said. It will be the first meeting of Zelensky and Merkel. Earlier, the parties had phone conversations.

It was also reported that on June 17, Zelensky will visit Paris, where he will meet with the President of France Emmanuel Macron.
