Georgia’s President Giorgi Margvelashvili congratulated his Armenian colleague Armen Sarkissian on Independence Day of Armenia.

“Your Excellency, On behalf of the Georgian people and myself, I would like to cordially congratulate you on Armenia’s Independence Day. Armenian people have gone through numerous challenges on the long path toward building a prosperous and independent state.

Taking this opportunity, I would like highlight that Georgia-Armenia friendship and partnership are based on deep historical and cultural traditions. I strongly believe that through our joint efforts we will overcome all the challenges facing Georgia and Armenia and further develop our cooperation for the mutual benefit of our peoples.
