President Kavelashvili meets with Aleksandar Vučić in New York

Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili has met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in New York.

The encounter took place on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. During their discussion, the leaders explored the main avenues of bilateral cooperation between Georgia and the Republic of Serbia, as well as the prospects for strengthening their partnership. The conversation also touched on the challenges confronting both nations and the wider international community.

It was noted at the meeting that bilateral relations between Georgia and Serbia have been growing increasingly dynamic in recent times. President Vučić extended an invitation to Mikheil Kavelashvili to visit Serbia, and in response, Kavelashvili invited his counterpart to Georgia.

Both leaders reaffirmed their steadfast support for the territorial integrity of their respective countries during the discussion.
