President Kavelashvili: Heroes of Shindisi showed everyone that Georgian fighters are unbroken

“Today we pay tribute to the outstanding Georgian fighters of our era, the heroes of Shindisi, who performed an act of indescribable heroism. They filled even the enemy with awe and astonishment at their valour and fighting spirit, showing everyone that the Georgian warrior is unbroken in spirit and will never accept the loss of Georgia’s freedom,” stated President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili.

According to him, every Georgian ought to take pride in the heroes of Shindisi.

“It is their very heroism that instils in us the conviction that Georgia is immortal and eternal. Once again, glory and honour to their souls and names. I met the parents of the Shindisi heroes and personally thanked them for bringing up such worthy sons of the fatherland. We truly take immense pride in the heroism of these men. We must acknowledge and feel what they accomplished every single day, so that in our daily lives, especially with our children and future generations, we instil the same spirit with which the heroes of Shindisi fought and lived. It is our duty to ensure that everyone remembers their deeds and heroism,” Kavelashvili declared.
