President Kavelashvili: Georgia ready to enhance dialogue and diplomacy in South Caucasus

“As part of my official visit to the Republic of Armenia, I met with my esteemed colleague, Mr. Vahagn Khachaturyan. Together, we discussed the historically strong friendship between Georgia and Armenia, as well as future opportunities to deepen our partnership,” Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili wrote on his social media account.

Kavelashvili noted that during their face-to-face meeting, the two leaders also addressed current political developments in both nations.

“I expressed my gratitude to Mr Vahagn Khachaturyan for his unwavering support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. Throughout our discussion, I reiterated the critical importance of regional peace and stability. Georgia is ready to continue its contribution to promoting dialogue and diplomacy in the South Caucasus. After our meeting, we issued joint statements to the media,” Kavelashvili concluded.
