President hosts Georgian media

The President of Georgia hosted the Georgian media representatives at the Orbelian Palace, who signed the “Our Voice for Europe” signature campaign.

The campaign launched on November 8 at the initiative of the President, asking European leaders to grant Georgia candidate status for EU accession in December.

“There is a very high chance that this decision will be positive. Although this is a major milestone and the outcome of everyone’s hard work, we also realise that nothing ends on December 15; instead, a more serious phase begins, in which you play a crucial part.

The next year will be even more crucial for us to catch up with our two partners from the associated trio – Ukraine and Moldova, and to achieve with them the opening of negotiations with all three countries, leading to direct and immediate accession,” the President added.
