Georgian President hosts final event as part of "Our Voice for Europe" campaign

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Wednesday hosted a final event for the diplomatic corps and politicians as part of the “Our Voice for Europe” campaign.

The President stated that the campaign, which began on November 8, sought to include the public in the last mobilization ahead of the European Council’s meeting on 15 December where the EU leaders will decide on Georgia candidate country status.

“It was paramount to once again send Georgia’s voice to Europe. I  hope we can rejoice again in two days. We all know that nothing ends on 15 December. After December 15th, we shall be doubly dedicated to continuing the journey together as there will be a lot for us to do,” she remarked.

The President handed the signatures collected within the campaign to the European Union Ambassador to Georgia, Paweł Herczyński.
