President and Culture Minister visit Zviad Gamsakhurdia Presidential Centre in Zugdidi

President Mikheil Kavelashvili, accompanied by Culture Minister Tinatin Rukhadze, visited the Zviad Gamsakhurdia Presidential Centre located in Zugdidi, in the Samegrelo region.

During the visit, the Minister briefed the President on the activities and upcoming plans of the multifunctional centre. Mikheil Kavelashvili expressed hope that young people would utilise the space to enhance their skills and realise their potential.

“I am informed that the building will be transferred to the Public Library. Our youth are provided with the opportunity and space to develop their ideas. I am confident that this centre will be bustling with activity, and young people will be able to improve their skills across various fields,” said Mikheil Kavelashvili.

The Public Library, constructed on the grounds of Dadiani Palace, spans over 3,000 square metres. It features a reading hall, conference and exhibition spaces, administrative offices, and a Mediateka.
