The statement highlights that the Georgian Orthodox Church has formed the foundation of Georgia’s identity and culture for centuries.

“We wish Your Holiness unwavering strength, wisdom, and divine blessing in fulfilling this significant mission as the shepherd of the nation. To the Georgian Orthodox Church and all its members, we wish peace, spiritual unity, and continued prosperity, values that for centuries have formed the foundation of Georgia’s identity and culture,” reads the statement.
