Police say protest marchers can proceed on one lane and along sidewalk, thus far

Deputy Head of the Main Division of the Patrol Police Department, Goga Memanishvili, has appealed to the marchers, heading towards Rustaveli Avenue, urging them to use the sidewalk and remain within a single lane.

“At this stage, we can allocate one lane for the marchers, and they are welcome to continue along the sidewalk. We will observe the situation and implement the remaining measures as necessary,” he stated.

The protest rally is currently taking place in Tbilisi. Participants are marching from the Tbilisi State University and Kostava Street towards Rustaveli Avenue.
