Police detain several participants of October 18 rally

According to preliminary reports, several participants of the October 18 rally were detained and taken to police stations in connection with the blocking of Rustaveli Avenue.

Information circulating on social networks suggests that among those detained are journalist Vakho Sanaia, Lasha Chkhartishvili, and Levan Jobava.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident.
