MP Parulava: Gov’t portrays international partners as acting against Georgia, while Europe criticizes undemocratic processes

There have been numerous critical resolutions adopted recently regarding developments in Georgia, and we have seen the Georgian Dream government’s reaction to them. Some resolutions are dismissed as ridiculous, while others are described as unacceptable, Giga Parulava, Deputy Chair of the parliamentary faction ‘For Georgia’, told the GPB First Channel.

Parulava commented on the resolution concerning Georgia adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

“The government is trying to convince the public that Georgia’s international partners are acting against the country. In reality, our European partners are criticizing the undemocratic processes taking place in Georgia — processes that have distanced the country from its path toward European integration,” Parulava said.
