Police detain one person for murder on Chavchavadze Avenue

The Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested one person for the murder on Chavchavadze Avenue in Tbilisi

G.U., born in 1975, was apprehended on charges of premeditated murder and illegal acquisition, possession, and carrying of firearms.

The investigation determined that the accused shot and wounded two individuals on Chavchavadze Avenue in Tbilisi before fleeing the scene. L.J., born in 1964, died at the location from the injuries sustained, while G.Ch., born in 1965, was transported to a medical facility.

According to the Ministry, the crime carries a prison sentence of up to 15 years.
