PM urges urgent restoration of Ganmukhuri-Anaklia coastline

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze inspected the ongoing project initiated by the Ministry of Infrastructure aimed at restoring the coastline in Ganmukhuri village, located in the Zugdidi municipality.

The Prime Minister emphasised the importance of developing this resort zone.

“This area possesses great promise as a tourist destination. The climate is favourable, and the planned works will harness this potential effectively. We must develop a comprehensive plan for resort infrastructure and cultivate a clear vision for its future. Active efforts are already underway in this direction,” he stated.

Infrastructure Minister Revaz Sokhadze provided additional details about measures to combat erosion. The project, with an estimated cost of GEL 5.5 million, will be financed from the state budget.
