PM: Ukrainian authorities demanded Georgia's dragging in war, statement of former president of Poland confirms this

“What the Ukrainian authorities demanded is obvious, and the statement by the former president of Poland is an additional confirmation of this,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters.

According to Kobakhidze, the Georgian government heard open statements on the part of Ukrainian high-ranking officials that Georgia had to open the second front.

“We all remember the high-ranking government officials of Ukraine openly demanding that Georgia open the second front. They were top officials like the Security Council Secretary, the President’s Advisor, and Rada deputies.

They demanded the opening of the second front from Georgia. When we did not do so, some moves followed: Ukraine withdrew its ambassador from Georgia under the motive that we did not impose sanctions on Russia and did not send volunteer fighters to Ukraine.

What the Ukrainian authorities demanded is obvious, and the statement by the former president of Poland serves as additional confirmation of this,” he said.

Former President of Poland Andrzej Duda admitted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy tried to drag Poland into war with Russia.

“They’ve been trying to drag everyone into the war from the very beginning. It’s obvious, it’s in their interest, and it would be best if they could drag NATO countries into the war. It’s obvious they’re looking for those who would actively fight on their side against the Russians. This has been happening since day one,” the former president stated in an interview with the Polish media.
