PM stresses youth are Georgia’s future, calls for enduring dialogue between ruling party and young generation
“The youth are the absolute future of our country,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters during his official visit to Kazakhstan.
The Prime Minister was answering a question about the Georgian Dream youth wing’s recent review conference and its nationwide tour of regional meetings.
“The significance of these meetings was extraordinary for us, given that the youth are the future of our country. Ultimately, it is they who must take over the governance of this nation.
Because of this, maintaining a close relationship and an open dialogue between the government, the ruling party, and the younger generation is deeply important. It allows us to hear firsthand about the issues they face, listen to the matters they raise, and engage with their ideas. This is precisely what the nationwide meetings were centred upon.
The discussions proved to be incredibly engaging, with young people raising various topics. Moving forward, the most vital thing is that this process continues. We must sustain this very close communication and engagement with our youth so that we can listen to them more and ensure the issues they raise are addressed as far as possible,” the Prime Minister stated.
