PM states Georgia is ready to rebuild strategic partnership with U.S. through mutual benefits roadmap
“We are ready to reestablish a strategic partnership with the United States, guided by a roadmap that reflects mutual benefits for both nations. We anticipate reciprocal steps in return,” said Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during his annual parliamentary address.
According to the Prime Minister, recent developments are contributing to a reset in diplomatic relations.
“Relations with the U.S. remain our top priority, and we have publicly affirmed this commitment. We are prepared to rebuild our strategic partnership, and we will do so through a clear roadmap that ensures advantages for both countries. We expect constructive responses and reciprocal actions.
Substantial progress has been made with our embassies, including Georgia’s appointment of an ambassador to the United States. I believe these developments are fostering a genuine reset of our relations. I am hopeful that a strategic partnership between Georgia and the U.S. will be fully restored,” he stated.
