PM says presentation on issue of citizens being in ‘black list’ of banks to be held in autumn

Work with those citizens, who are put on the so-called ‘black list’ of banks and are unable to lead economic activities, is ongoing actively – Mamuka Bakhtadze, Georgian Prime Minister said during the briefing before the governmental sitting.

According to PM, the government will present an interesting initiative about the issue of those 650 thousand people included in the ‘black list’ to enable them to carry out normal economic activities in the country in autumn.

Starting September 1, credit-information bureau will be transferred under supervision of National Bank of Georgia (NBG). Production of credit history will be changed and the so-called negative status will be abolished. Financial organizations will take into consideration only factual data of customers when issuing credits.
