PM meets with ICRC Delegation Head and Envoy on Missing Persons

Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, held a meeting with Anne Montavon, Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Delegation in Georgia, and Agnes Coutou, Envoy on Missing Persons in the Caucasus.

According to the government press service, the discussion centred on the ongoing and effective cooperation between Georgia and the ICRC in the search for and identification of missing persons. The crucial role played by the International Committee of the Red Cross in this endeavour was emphasised.

Particular attention was given to the current situation in the occupied territories of Georgia and to providing support for those affected by the conflict.

The meeting was attended by State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality, Tea Akhvlediani.
