Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met the delegation of the visiting UN-accredited permanent representatives from Burundi, Lesotho, Nepal, and Kuwait.
The meeting held at the Government Administration focused on the reforms implemented by the Georgian government, the country’s economic capabilities and transit role, regional cooperation and facing challenges.
Irakli Kobakhidze emphasized the importance of developing global partnerships in terms of both conflict resolution and ensuring international peace, security, and sustainable development of the country.
The PM underscored the significance of peace and stability in the South Caucasus and reaffirmed Georgia’s readiness to promote a dialogue that will ensure lasting peace in the region.
“I was honored to meet with the UN representatives from Burundi, Lesotho, Nepal, and Kuwait for productive discussions on enhancing cooperation. Strengthening global partnerships remains a key priority for Georgia.
We deeply value our collaboration and are grateful for the firm support to Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and non-recognition policy, and look forward to deepening cooperation in multilateral formats for the benefit of our nations,” Irakli Kobakhidze wrote on the X Platform following the meeting.
