Education Minister travels to Turkmenistan on official visit

Georgia’s Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, has departed for Turkmenistan on an official visit.

According to the Ministry’s press service, Mikanadze will hold bilateral meetings with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Mamedov and Turkmenistan’s Minister of Education Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev.

“During the visit, the Minister will attend the opening ceremony of the Institute of State Architecture and Civil Engineering of Turkmenistan.

“Together with members of the delegation, Givi Mikanadze will also visit higher education institutions that cooperate with Georgian universities,” the Ministry’s press service said.
