PM meets newly appointed Georgian Ambassador to Bulgaria

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze held a meeting with Zurab Khamashuridze, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Bulgaria.

During the encounter, the Prime Minister congratulated the diplomat on his appointment and extended his best wishes for success in his future endeavours.

Zurab Khamashuridze previously served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Estonia. His career includes roles such as Director of the European Integration Department at the Directorate-General for European Union Affairs, as well as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Georgian Embassy in Belgium and the Representation of Georgia to the European Union.

The newly appointed ambassador has also worked within the Department of International Organisations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, initially as Head of the Council of Europe Division, and subsequently as Head of the OSCE Division.
