Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met the Founder and Director of Indorama Corporation, Sri Prakash Lohia.
Current cooperation-related issues between the Georgian government and Indorama Corporation and future relationship prospects were discussed at the Government Administration meeting.
The conversation touched on the plans that Indorama has regarding Rustavi’s nitrogen fertilizers enterprise. The company invested USD 200 million in Rustavi Azot. Indorama has a long-term plan to modernize the Rustavi factory. It was mentioned that the company is working on adding new production lines.
The Georgian PM reconfirmed its readiness to continue cooperation.
Indorama, one of the largest chemical production companies, has 160 plants employing over 45 thousand people.
