PM Kobakhidze welcomes infighting among “foreign agents”, claiming their collapse will boost Georgia’s democratic system

“The further the network of foreign agents unravels, and the more infighting there is among them, the better it will be for the development of our democratic system,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told Georgian journalists in Kazakhstan.

Kobakhidze remarked that there is a bitter internal rivalry among these individuals as they compete to curry favour with their external masters, identifying this as the core driver behind the ongoing friction.

“For us, this is of little interest; our focus is entirely on the development of the country, and we are completely concentrated on that goal. However, the further this network of agents unravels, and the more infighting there is within their ranks, the better it will be for the progress of our democratic system,” Irakli Kobakhidze stated.
