“Our primary objective is the total neutralisation of the collective United National Movement (UNM) by 2028, and they themselves are helping us immensely to achieve this goal. I thank every single one of them for that,” stated the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, while speaking to journalists.

According to Kobakhidze, the radical opposition constitutes an anti-state faction and a network of foreign agents. He added that the more fractured and degraded this political force becomes, the better it will be for Georgian democracy.

“The most amusing part is that these individuals cannot even stand one another, yet they expect the public to embrace them. It is utterly absurd. When you cannot even tolerate each other, you will never win over the public. This is a very simple reality that was clearly reflected in the elections of 2020, 2021, 2024, and 2025. They have failed to move past this reality, which, in the end, is a very good thing.

This is a radical opposition, an anti-state faction, a network of foreign agents. Consequently, the more this political force is dismantled, the better it will be for Georgian democracy and our political system. Our primary objective is the total neutralisation of the collective UNM by 2028. They are helping us greatly in achieving this task, and I thank every single one of them for it,” the Prime Minister declared.
