PM Kobakhidze: Opposition stands no chance anywhere for one simple reason: they lack the Georgian people’s support
“Opposition forces stand no chance anywhere—neither in elections, nor in parliament, nor on the streets, nor in the Constitutional Court. Consequently, they are in total disarray; one day they announce one course of action, the next day another, yet every time they announce something, they end up empty-handed.
There is one simple reason for this: these political forces do not enjoy the support of the Georgian people, and secondly, they are in the wrong before the law, the constitution, the public, the state, and their own country,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told Georgian journalists in Armenia.
According to the Prime Minister, all of their plans are ultimately doomed to failure.
“Under such circumstances, it is impossible to achieve any success. For this entire time, they have pinned their hopes on their foreign patrons, but as you can see, even they are powerless to help them.
Consequently, they are in despair and, at such times, make yet more statements regarding new plans. We see that all these plans, in the end, are destined for complete failure,” the Prime Minister noted.
