PM Kobakhidze: Georgia signs three space security declarations, reaffirming close partnership with European allies
“Georgia has endorsed three international declarations on space security,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists in Paris.
The Head of Government emphasised that Georgia will remain fully engaged in the overarching decision-making process alongside its European partners.
“It is essential that Europe maintains its own distinct vision and an independent policy regarding space matters. Whilst our resources as a small nation are naturally limited in this field, we remain an integral part of the decision-making framework. We participate in formulating relevant decisions across various international platforms; consequently, our stance holds genuine value for our European partners.
We have formally endorsed three separate declarations concerning space security. We will continue to foster a close partnership with our European colleagues on these critical issues in the future, and Georgia will remain fully integrated into the relevant decision-making process,” Kobakhidze stated.
