PM Kobakhidze expresses confidence that state security strengthens under Mdinaradze’s leadership
“I would like to congratulate Mamuka Mdinaradze on his appointment as head of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG). All law enforcement agencies must collaborate effectively, and in this regard, we believe a significant step forward has been taken,” stated Georgia’s Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, during today’s government session.
The Prime Minister highlighted that today’s unity among law enforcement agencies is unprecedented and vital across all sectors.
“I am confident that, under Mamuka Mdinaradze’s leadership, the effectiveness of the State Security Service will see substantial and fundamental improvement. The sense of unity within our law enforcement community has never been stronger, which is essential in the fight against crime in all its forms. We must continue to consolidate our efforts, particularly in tackling drugs, organised crime, and corruption. Moving forward, active cooperation in these areas is imperative.
Additionally, preventing politically motivated crimes is of great importance, and naturally, our law enforcement agencies will be fully unified in this effort,” Kobakhidze affirmed.
