PM Kobakhidze: Communication between Georgia and United States to deepen by end of May; specific agenda is in place

“Communication between the Georgian and American sides will deepen by the end of May,” Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.

He outlined concrete plans in progress.

“By the end of May, you will see tangible results in specific areas. Communication will occur. I cannot disclose the exact details of what or how, but I can assure you that the interaction between Georgia and the United States will strengthen by the end of May,” the Prime Minister declared.

Addressing a question regarding a previous deadline of the end of April, which Kakha Kaladze had mentioned, the Prime Minister clarified: “I did not set that deadline, nor can I tell you why it was mentioned. Kakha Kaladze might have spoken in a particular context, but I do not have that information. I did not state such a deadline. We have a specific agenda agreed with the American side, and many communications will take place by the end of May. To be clear, I am specifically referring to May, not April.”
